WebMar 6, 2024 · Aug 16, 2024 #1 I just took the opportunity to weigh my Gibson Flying V and my Warmoth partscaster. The V (all mahogany) weighs 6.8 pounds, the Warmoth (maple neck and alder body) weighs 8 pounds. I've always heard that V's are some of the most well balanced instruments out there. I love it to bits but I noticed some neck dive from day 1. WebMay 31, 2011 · Are any of the Flying V models significantly heavier than my Faded V?
