Formed in Los Angeles, the band consisted of Shele Pinizzotto (guitar), Rosemary Butler (bass), Sherry Hagler (keyboards), and Olivia "Liver" Favela (drums). [1] Each of the band members contributed lead vocals and harmonies. WebAC/DC's mammoth power-chord roar became one of the most influential hard rock sounds of the '70s and helped define the style as the years progressed. Founded by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, the Aussie band exploded onto the international stage in 1979 with the release of their multi-platinum-selling sixth album, Highway to Hell.
